A wonderful, refreshing and aromatic tea from prize-winning tea farmer Ōyama, in Sonogi, southern Kyushu. Tamaryokucha is a traditional tea from Kyushu. The leaves get less pressure in the rolling process, which gives them a bit curly appearance. Award winning blend of first flush Saemidori and Tsuyuhikari cultivars. Sweet and rich flavor, full of umami, sometimes visible as very small white “salt” flakes in the leaves. Kiri means fog, which covers the tea garden in the mountain in the morning. First flush.
